Booking Terms & Conditions
(i) Contract – The contract is with us, AJN Land Scotland PTE Ltd. Registered No. SC647839.
a. In these terms, the client is the person who has made the arrangements with Dungarthill House as the principal contact or party leader and is named on the booking form and confirmation.
(ii) The Reservation Process
a. We may agree to you making a provisional booking with us, but this is not legally binding on either you or us unless there is a contract entered into by both parties, which will be deemed to have been agreed by the deposit payment being received and confirmed by AJN Land Scotland PTE Ltd, thereby confirming the booking. A provisional booking can be held for up to 24 hours, after which it will be cancelled if we have not received payment in part or full.
b. A deposit is required to secure the booking and is not refundable if you subsequently cancel a confirmed booking. Payments can be made by Bank Transfer. The balance falls due 60 days prior to your arrival at the property but this will be invoiced to you.
c. AJN Land Scotland PTE Ltd reserve the right to refuse or cancel a confirmed booking if it is deemed the accommodation might not be suitable for the intended stay. In this event the deposit will not be refundable.
d. As soon as your confirmation is received, please check the details carefully and if anything is incorrect, please inform us immediately. We cannot accept liability if we are not notified of any inaccuracies in the documentation.
(iii) Security Deposits
a. A security deposit of £500 is required to cover the costs resulting from the action or inaction of the client or a member of their party for Dungarthill House. The security deposit is returned within two weeks of your departure from the property unless any costs are incurred.
b. In the event the cost of rectification of loss or damage caused by the client or a member of their party exceeds the security deposit, the client will be notified of any additional amount owing.
(iiii) Cancellation
a. Where a cancellation notice is received after the deposit has been paid and before the balance is due, the client is still liable to pay the final balance on the due date.
b. It is extremely unlikely that AJN Land Scotland PTE Ltd will cancel any confirmed booking, however, in this event AJN Land Scotland PTE Ltd reserve the right to cancel a booking. The client will be informed as soon as possible and the deposit / balance, if already settled, will be refunded in this instance.
(v) Use of Property and Your Responsibilities
a. Party Size – There are limits on the maximum number of guests that can stay at Dungarthill House and the number of guests at the property must not exceed this limit. The maximum number of persons to be in the property at any one time is 21 named individuals.
b. No outside suppliers to be used at Dungarthill House without the prior written consent of the owner/managers, and suitable Public Liability Insurance having been shown to the owner prior to the suppliers and guests arrival at Dungarthill House.
c. Dungarthill House does not accept Stag Parties and reserves the right to refuse admission to the property or ask the client to vacate the property with immediate effect if the client fails to adhere to this condition.
d. We accept up to four well behaved dogs at Dungarthill House but no other pets. Dogs must not be allowed upstairs or on the soft furnishings. You must pick up all dog mess properly.
e. Dungarthill House is in a rural area and has a septic tank. If anything other than toilet tissue is flushed down any WC in the house and causes blockage, this will result in a deduction taken from the security deposit.
f. The client is legally obliged to take all reasonable care of the property and around the property and shall leave Dungarthill House in the same state at the end of the rental period as found in the beginning.
g. The client is legally obliged to ensure that they do not cause nuisance to neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.
h. No motor homes, camper vans, caravans or tents are to be pitched at Dungarthill House under any circumstances. Electric cars are not to be hooked up to the Dungarthill House electricity supply or any other battery-operated items/bouncy castle or other outside entity without specific written prior approval from the owner.
i. There is a no smoking policy inside the property, and discard cigarettes must be disposed of correctly into a bin.
j. Recycling bins are located at the property for guests to use. Please put the correct items into each bin otherwise we risk the bins not being collected by the council. This will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
(vi) Arrival and Departure Times
a. Check in at 5 pm.
b. Check out at 10 am.
